With many of you enjoying a sunny May weekend, I am glad to be able to share the new (and much improved) version of my regular EU law-making updates. I hope it makes starting your next week a little easier.
Over the last 7 days, the EU institutions took the following legislative steps:
- 11 new legislative proposals
- 4 European Parliament draft reports
- 2 Council general approaches / negotiation mandates
- 5 trilogue meetings
- 3 Parliament 1st reading positions
- 3 acts adopted by the Council
- 6 laws published in the Official Journal
I’ve compiled the full summary in the slides below, with direct links to every file and stage of the legislative process.
If you’d like to dig deeper into any dossier, you can explore the full procedure, timelines, and source documents in my EU Law Tracker.
This continues my previous series of EU law-making updates in a new format. With the new tracker holding more data, I have now also adapted the regular updates..
As always, feedback on how to improve these overview and the tracker very welcome.
