Your new EU law tracker is here

I built the EU law tracker I always wanted – and now I am sharing it with you.

As many of you know, I have been looking for the best ways to monitor EU policy developments and work with the information on my own terms. In the end, I decided to create my own interactive tool, with clear visuals to make EU processes easier to navigate.

I am delighted (and relieved) to be able to share a new version of my EU law tracker with you. The tool has been much expanded in scope and functionality, allowing you to track consultations, legislative procedures and application dates across policy areas.

The tracker now also has a name: I call it upstream because the goal is to provide advance information on emerging EU initiatives, enabling you to act early in the policy process and make your voice heard when there is still time to make changes.

This is my attempt to cut through the complexity of EU law-making. Don’t just take my word for it. You can test it yourself here.

I’d love to hear your feedback. There is still plenty to do.

Upstream is free to use for now. If you find it useful, please share it with others.
