🔹 14 new calls for evidence and public consultations launched over the last two weeks, including on the Affordable Housing Act, tackling territorial supply constraints in the Single Market, guidance on the ‘do no significant harm’ principle under the 2028–2034 EU budget, and draft Commission guidance on the Cyber Resilience Act. (Slide 2)
🔹 The Commission published 1 new legislative proposal on combating firearms trafficking and other firearms-related offences. (Slide 3)
🔹 The Council agreed several negotiation mandates, including on amendments to the Critical Raw Materials Act, the Digital Omnibus on AI aimed at simplifying implementation of harmonised rules on AI, rules on greenhouse gas accounting of transport services, bank resolution and deposit guarantee frameworks, etc. (Slide 4)
🔹 No new Parliament decisions during the latest period.
🔹 The Council approved several files, including measures on unfair trading practices in the agri-food supply chain, the EU-Mercosur safeguard clause for agricultural products, the framework for achieving climate neutrality, and legislation on corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence under Omnibus I. (Slide 6)
🔹The EU published several laws, including rules on corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence, regarding the Ukraine Support Loan 2026–2027 and the Ukraine Facility Regulation, migration-related measures on safe countries of origin and updates to legislation on detergents and surfactants and agricultural market rules. (Slide 7)
