The EU rulebook never stands still. February brings 74 planned legal changes – and that number will grow as the EU institutions adopt more acts in the coming weeks.
Here is the full list. I am now also including keywords in the table to make it easier to find what matters most to you.
Breakdown of changes
- 32 requirements stop applying (mostly linked to sanctions-related Council decisions that must be renewed periodically).
- 9 laws start to apply at least partially (mostly linked to civil aviation)
- 32 compliance deadlines (many related to agriculture)
- 1 transposition deadline
Overall, February looks rather quiet compared with a very busy January, which saw around 250 legal changes.
About the format
Yes, a pdf table like this is far from ideal. I’m currently working on integrating all of this data into my law tracker, where it will be much easier to search, filter and selectively follow what matters to you.
Some of the data (for legislative acts since 2019) is already available here.
One request
If you spot a legal change missing from this list, please let me know. It helps me verify the data.
