When I started tracking EU legislative developments, I realised that gathering the data was only a small part of the job. What really matters is making it understandable and useful for others.
That’s why I built my interactive EU law tracker: it automatically collects EU law-making data and makes it freely accessible. This lets me – and I hope you – focus on explaining what’s happening, rather than chasing the information.
🧩 Now I am adding another tool: regular updates that give you a quick overview of recent developments. The slides cover everything from new public consultations to Council and Parliament positions, recently adopted legislation and upcoming application dates.
Think of the slides as your briefing and the tracker as your research tool. Together, they help you stay on top of EU policy without the hassle.
💭 I’d love to hear your thoughts – this is still experimental and your feedback shapes how I develop these tools. What would make these updates more helpful to you? And if you find this useful, please share it with others.
Finally, if you’re wondering about the maze on the first slide – yes, that’s actually how an EU law gets made! See my full mapping here. This is exactly the complexity these tools are designed to cut through.
